About

Taking a picture is not the end goal but rather the beginning of re-imagening a new visible reality through digital means.

My latest exhibition Alternate Realities includes two series of photographic works, Changing Space and Immersion.

In Changing Space I tried to capture the overwhelming sensation of a city landscape with it’s dazzling skyscrapers and cold, reflecting facades as well as to express my fascination with man-made urban jungles beyond human scale.

The forest and jungle scenes of Immersion seem intimidating but at the same time can provide a sense of shelter. In this romantic field of tension the two colliding emotions in a new reality become one.

The same can be said about these two series, their common ground is the idea that behind familiar images of reality lies a whole world of alternate ones.
